  Help with an assignment

  Send the homework or the worksheet. For each question, Guru gives the idea, a hint and a worked example of a similar problem first, with a drawing where a picture helps. The full solutions are at the back of the same guide, to check the work. Any idea in it can become its own Prep & Practice Guide, with lessons and a practice test: “Go deeper on one idea”.

• Prep & Practice Guide

  Practice for the next test

  Upload the chapter, the syllabus or the unit outline, or just type the topic. Guru writes short lessons from your class's own material, then a practice test printed without answers, as many questions on each idea as you choose. A long chapter or packet comes in parts by topic. Ask for a separate answer key for yourself if you want one.

  The learner practices on what the class is actually covering.

• Video lessons

  Someone to explain it, on video

  Each lesson in a Prep & Practice Guide, and each main idea in a homework guide, can have a short video: a tutor at a classic greenboard explaining it with a worked example from the guide. The printed page links to it. Made when you ask for them; a set counts as one guide.

  The learner can watch, pause, rewind and bookmark the moment it clicked.

• Performance Review

  See where the marks went

  Upload the finished or graded work. Guru reads what the learner actually wrote and shows where marks were lost, why, and the habits behind the misses. Review the whole test, or only what was missed.

  Every review ends with the next practice set, for exactly the ideas that were missed.

• The progress path

  Progress across the year

  Every guide is filed by subject, term and unit. You see what was covered, what was checked, and what keeps getting missed, across units and across school years.

  Counted from the record, never an AI's guess about the learner.

Writing tasks — an essay, a summary, a report — have their own guide, and Guru never writes the piece. Everything you can ask for

   A Prep & Practice Guide made from the class's own material: short lessons, each with a worked example and its own short video.

   The learner does the work on paper: a practice test with the answers held back, or tonight's homework with a study guide beside it.

   The finished pages come back to Guru. The Performance Review shows which ideas are solid, which are not, and why.

   The review ends with practice for exactly what was missed. Then the wheel turns again.
